Presnell Family Foundation
Presnell Family Foundation is a not for profit organization that manages
and operates the Plantation’s events and activities that are geared toward
youth, the disabled, the terminally ill, and other similar deserving groups
and non-profit organizations. Kevin L. Presnell and Sheila M. Presnell,
on behalf of Presnell Family Foundation, warmly welcome all of our
invited guests to Presnell Plantation.
It is the mission of Presnell Family Foundation to share the Plantation grounds and facilities with deserving guests. Presnell Family Foundation is committed to our young people. The Foundation regularly hosts youth outings, events, seminars, hunts, tournaments, fund-raisers, and essentially anything connected to outdoor recreation or agriculture. Our youth programs emphasize learning, sharing, and exploring in an outdoor context that has been carefully planned for safety, enlightenment, and enjoyment.
Operation Jefferson Proving Grounds and
Operation Presnell Plantation programs are
designed for disabled hunters and veterans,
and are but two of many of the Foundation’s
programs. Guests experience the thrill of
hunting deer, turkey, upland game, waterfowl,
and predators or simply fishing at one of the
Plantation’s well stocked lakes, Jefferson Proving
Grounds 180-acre lake or the Ohio River. The
Plantation has the resources available to insure a
memorable outing for these special patrons.
“Outdoor Wish” is another Presnell Family Foundation program. Outdoor Wish affords to individuals with a terminally ill disease a precious opportunity to fulfill an Outdoor aspiration, which can be as simple as observing the on-site cattle or horse operation, or extend to a fishing excursion on a Plantation water craft or a hunting experience of choice.
The Foundation also hosts countless not-for-profit and other similar fraternal organizations and clubs. The grounds and facilities are uniquely designed to foster team building and similar, positive objectives in an enjoyable outdoor setting.
